Design
Our gardens are designed to meet the cultural and aesthetic needs of residential landscapes while creating the ecological services we all depend on
Trust in the Living Landscape
Beyond considering sunlight, moisture, soil, bloom time, and size, we intentionally select plants to allow our design to evolve based on plant dynamics. Plants are living organisms that move and interact at their own pace. Let them find their way! Sometimes, the most inspired design reveals itself when we embrace the spontaneous expression of a living landscape.

Where Culture Meets Ecology
The human connection to natural spaces is often lost in traditional, lawn-predominant landscapes. Our installations are designed to weave wild spaces back into our cultural fabric. We do this by emphasizing naturally occurring patterns and layers into mindfully composed landscapes for visual structure, seasonal aesthetics and ecological function.
Designs for Diversity
A diverse garden is a sustainable garden, and sustainable gardens are more productive over time. Designing with a diverse mix of plants means more resilience to changing weather patterns, and a greater range of color and texture through every season. A particularly dry summer, for example, may cause one species to slightly decline, but another species to thrive. The site-specific adaptations of plants generate continuity and balance in our designs.
